Rwandans are not excessively talkative, as people of another culture might be. Now, a Rwandan may talk about his problems with a very close friend. But one will probably not find the problem posted on the community bulletin board.

Going shopping with friends in Butare Town always eases any stress that I may have from school.

After every course, I try to rest for a few minutes, to refresh my mind. Then I’ll pull out the notes that I took during the lecture, put the sentences into my own words, and organize them. Typically I continue by consulting the books related to the course work.
Studying in my room is no problem if my roommates are out, or if they are quiet. And this silence isn’t always easy to break: if you knock at the door and you don’t have an appointment, you will stay at the door!
